Watch out for domain name nabbers!

WISDOM IS MEANINGLESS UNTIL IT’S SHARED – and we’ve had quite a few of our clients letting us know that they have received invoices from random Domain Name hosting companies who claim that you owe them money to pay for domain name registration and/or web site hosting.

This scheme preys on unsuspecting businesses that assume it is legitimate and pays the invoice, which is often to the value of a few hundred dollars. However, do not pay the invoice, bin it instead – this scam has been known about for a few years and quite frankly we think it’s hideous.
