Rack ’em up

Constructive Media took delivery of a brand new rack which is just the start of a formidable hardware update for its renderfarm! We’ve moved from single core, to hyperthreaded P4’s, to the first dual-cores, then to Core 2 Duos, then to Core 2 Quads and now we embrace the arrival of a stack of Core i7 renderfarm nodes!

With more animations being created at Constructive Media, we also needed to beef up our storage systems so a dedicated SAN will also be installed over the Christmas break.
